INTRODUCING PRONTO-PEX

five-layer barrier pipe, the innovative new generation of co-extruded pipe. Designed to make life simple and to be cost effective for specifiers and installers of heating and plumbing systems. Pronto-Pex is manufactured by Micrex Profiles and is a super tough, yet highly flexible pipe with a buried internal EVOH (ethylene vinyl alcohol co-polymer) barrier, which inhibits oxygen permeation and therefore diminishes the risk of corrosion in the system.

is designed for use in hot and cold water services, central and under-floor heating systems. Available in standard 10, 15, 22 and 28mm diameters, and standard coils sizes of 25 & 50metres and in straight lengths of 3 and 6 metres. Larger coil sizes available on request. Pronto-Pex is also available in Irish sizes 1/2”, 3/4” & 1in diameters.

is designed for use with existing BS 864 and IS 239 compliant compression fittings and can also be used with other approved proprietary fitting systems. Pronto-Pex is manufactured to the same nominal dimensions as UK copper tube and can be joined with standard compression fittings.
